Works by Martin Janecký at exhibitions in the Czech Republic
Martin Janecký's work can be seen in the Czech Republic as part of several ongoing exhibitions, as well as permanent exhibitions.
The artwork entitled Thinker is part of the long-term exhibition Pleiades of Glass 1946-2019 at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. Two other works by Martin Janecký are on display as part of the permanent exhibition entitled Glass as Art at the Museum of Art Glass in the Portheimka Villa in Prague 5: Glass in the 8smička Art Zone in Humpolec, extended until 20 September 2020. The exhibition presents both free and applied glass, historical and contemporary, which in some way illustrates more general themes related to the history and development of glassmaking. In contrast, the current glass exhibition at the Světlá nad Sázavou Castle presents a wide range of approaches to glassmaking and is open to visitors until 18 September 2020.Martin Janecký's work can also be found in the collection of the Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou.
